Saginaw Community Foundation and Saginaw's Promise

The Saginaw Community Foundation (SCF) is a nonprofit corporation dedicated to improving the quality of life in Saginaw County. Saginaw County’s Promise (SCP), an initiative of the SCF, is working with other local organizations and businesses to develop a dropout awareness and prevention summit to be held in October 2009. Saginaw County’s Promise is one of the communities helping America’s Promise Alliance achieve its goal of 15 in 5. We are helping to introduce promises to 15 million kids in the next 5 years. We are doing that by focusing on the National Action Strategies of America’s Promise Alliance which include Ready for the Real World, Where the Kids Are, All Kids Covered and Dropout Prevention.   http://www.saginawfoundation.org/
